Accreditation

The Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences is a private, not-for-profit California public benefit corporation that has been approved to offer the professional Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine degree and the Tuina Massage Therapy Certificate program. “Approved” means compliance with state standards as set forth under the California Private Postsecondary Education Act of 2009, as overseen by the Bureau of Private Post-Secondary Education within the Department of Consumer Affairs.

Through approval of the California Acupuncture Board, graduates of ACCHS are eligible to sit for the California licensing examination for acupuncture and Oriental medicine. Eligible students may sit for the examination of the National icon_scholarshipCertification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.

The Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences is institutionally accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM), which is the recognized accrediting agency for freestanding institutions and colleges of acupuncture or Oriental medicine that offer such programs. The Master of Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine degree program in English and Chinese of the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences is accredited under Master’s Degree standards, by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM), the recognized accrediting agency for programs preparing acupuncture and Oriental medicine practitioners.
